Giles Whitaker
I am a Canadian-based freelance designer, producing logos, diagrams, document layouts, infographics, and other types of graphics. I also design and manage websites. I hold Masters degrees in Visual Arts (University of Western Ontario) and Science (University of Auckland).
I prepared the layout for the multi-million dollar Surviving Memory in Post-War El Salvador funding application (University of Western Ontario), which was successful. I have also produced reports on mining activities in El Salvador for organizations such as The Institute for Policy Studies (Washington, D.C.)
My diagrams and scientific illustrations have been published in journals (such as Physical Chemistry, Chemical Physics), in numerous poster and oral presentations at international conferences, and in many reports and presentations.
A presentation using my diagrams won the prize for best presentation at the Waste Management Conference in Phoenix Arizona, 2019, out of 450 presentations from 30 different countries.
I am passionate about design, and I specialize in presenting complex information in a clear and appealing way. I can help you with:
Diagrams
Document Layouts
Signs and Business Rebranding

I speak English and French, and am happy to work with you in either language.
